Cadet Sea Bag List . . .

All uniforms must have appropriate USNSCC flashes and nametapes. All clothing articles and other personal belongings MUST be marked with cadet name and last 4 digits of SSN.

All Cadets . . .

Uniform Item
2 sets of BDUs with the flashes on each sleeve and nametapes across the chest  If you have Woodlands bring them.  If your unit has changed to the NWU you may wear those
1 BDU cover with the flash sewn on the front
1 black belt w/silver buckle
1 white belt (for your Whites)
1 white jumper and slacks or tropical whites (whichever your unit wears) w/sea cadet flashes
1 “Dixie” cup for males or combo cover for females
1 black neckerchief (if you are wearing Jumper Whites)
1 pair of boondockers or combat boots. NO EXCEPTIONS!
1 pair of black dress shoes
4 Brown T-shirts
2 White T-shirts
5 pair of socks (at least one pair should be black for your Whites).
5 pair underwear (at least one must be white for your summer/tropical whites)
 
PERSONAL ITEMS:
Sunscreen
Personal toiletry (shampoo, soap, shaving needs, toothbrush and toothpaste, etc.)
Insect Repellent (non-aerosol)
 
OTHER: (Not optional)
Sleeping bag and a pillowcase
2 towels
2 washclothes
1 beach type towel
Swimsuit – no speedo type (1 piece, black/blue if you are a female)
Sneakers or athletic shoes
4 pair of athletic socks
2 or 3 pair of athletic shorts, no cut-offs
3 PT-type T-shirts
Laundry powder
Pen and notebook
Spending money (to be determined by your parents/guardians) $30.00 should be plenty

Notes . . .

1. Towels and sheets, will NOT be provided, however pillows will be provided, but bring your own pillow if you wish.

2. You will be doing laundry, so make sure your name and the last four digits of your SSN are marked on all of your clothing.

3. Civilian clothes are allowed, but they must be appropriate and in good taste. No tank tops or tube shirts. No open- toed shoes in the Galley. The COTC has the final word as to what is, and what is not, appropriate. If you bring inappropriate civilian clothing, you will wear dungarees during liberty and to the Galley. The COTC is very STRICT about this policy.
