Check-in . . .

Check in will be on 10 July between 1200 and 1300. For the convenience of the parents check in will be at the Stimson Gate Pass and ID parking lot. The Stimson Gate is at the end of Kings Bay Road. If flying in arrangements MUST BE sent to the COTC at least TWO WEEKS PRIOR to training to ensure an adult escort will meet you at the airport.

Uniform For Check-in . . .

The Uniform for check-in will be Jumper Whites. If you are arriving on a commercial flight, you are expected to travel in civilian clothing and will be provided an opportunity to change once you arrive at the airport.

Cadets Arriving Via Commercial Flight . . .

Cadets will use Jacksonville Intl Airport; transportation will be provided from the airport to the base. The following information is due to me as soon as it's available, NO LATER THAN ONE WEEK IN ADVANCE of training:

DO NOT deviate from this schedule without contacting the COTC. An Escort Officer will meet you at the USO which is located between the Avis and Budget Rental car agencies in the BAGGAGE CLAIM area. The USO is manned, has a lounge, a phone, and will be expecting you; have my phone number on your person in the event of an emergency. In accordance with current DOD guidelines, all airline travel will be in civilian clothes.

Sea Bag Inspection . . .

Cadets should arrive with a full sea bag per the published sea bag list ready for inspection; items not on the list will be confiscated.

Grooming Standards . . .

Grooming standards area clearly defined in chapter 2 of the NSCC / NLCC Uniform Regulations Manuel. This should be self explanatory, do not show up to training outside of the prescribed standards.
